A member of the team will meet you at the Kathmandu airport's arrival terminal. Our representative will be holding you nameplate and greet you, then transport you to your Kathmandu hotel. The representative will give you an overview of our plans as you check into the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, we'll provide information about our upcoming journey. We'll then embark on a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu, visiting various UNESCO World Heritage sites. You can spend the rest of the day at your leisure or prepare for the adventure ahead.
We take a 6-7 hour drive on the picturesque Prithvi Highway to reach the serene lakeside city of Pokhara. The journey offers scenic views of terraced rice fields and rolling hills, building our excitement for the trek. Pokhara, a tranquil town surrounded by natural beauty, awaits us. We spend the night at a hotel.
In the morning, you'll drive to Jhinu Dada, which takes about 2 hours. From there, you'll start your trek to Sinuwa, which will take around 3 hours. The trail offers beautiful scenery and passes through lush forests, small villages, and terraced fields. Sinuwa is a tranquil village where you will spend the night at a Guesthouse.
Today's trek takes you to Deurali, which is about a 7-hour hike from Sinuwa. You will continue your journey through the forested trail, gradually gaining altitude. Deurali is a stopover point on the way to Annapurna Base Camp and offers a serene environment for your overnight stay.
This is the day you've been waiting for. You'll trek to Annapurna Base Camp, which takes approximately 4 hours. As you ascend, the landscape changes, and you'll be surrounded by towering peaks. Once you reach ABC, you'll be greeted by breathtaking panoramic views of the Annapurna massif, Machapuchare (Fishtail), and other peaks. You'll stay overnight at the base camp.
After witnessing the sunrise over the mountains at ABC, you'll start your descent back to Sinuwa. This is an 8-hour trek, and you'll retrace your steps through the spectacular landscapes of the Annapurna region.
You'll continue your descent and return to Jhinu Dada, where you'll spend the night. After resting and relaxing in Jhinu, you'll drive back to Pokhara. This journey will take you about 2 hours. In Pokhara, you can enjoy the lakeside atmosphere and unwind.
Today, you'll drive back to Kathmandu, taking approximately 6-7 hours. Once in Kathmandu, you can spend your remaining time shopping for souvenirs or exploring the city further.
Your adventure in Nepal comes to an end as you depart from Kathmandu. You will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey, taking with you unforgettable memories of the Annapurna Base Camp Trek.
Shikhar Adventure disclaims responsibility for weather-related problems, property damage, etc. Nevertheless, we'll assist you in managing inconveniences. Weather conditions can cause transportation delays to and from Pokhara, potentially lasting several days. To prevent flight back to your home country, it's advisable to book flights to and from Kathmandu with a few extra days. If flights proceed as planned, we will help arrange activities for your additional days. In case of tight schedules and road delays in Pokhara, you have the option to take a flight back to Kathmandu for an extra cost.
