Our Everest Helicopter Tour begins from the Kathmandu domestic airport early in the morning (to insure the best weather and clear skies!).  As we fly towards the northeast part of the country, the views quickly change from green forests, terraced hillside settlements and river gorges to rugged mountains, reaching towards the heavens. We fly to Lukla(2860m) for fuel and continue further. During the tour, we have a bird’s eye view of the majesticAmaDablam, Pumori, Makalu and Cho Oyu peaks and countless others.  From here, we will fly to Everest Base Campdisembark. There will be time to take photos and cherish our moments here.  Check out the infamous Khumbu Icefall and the cluster of tents full of mountaineers preparing for their Everest summit ascent.Base Camp provides incredible views and photographing opportunities. We’ll hop back on the helicopter and enjoy the final views from our window as we head back to Kathmandu.  After the tour, we’ll take you back to the hotel and you can spend the rest of the day as you wish.

All the seasons are suitable for the Everest Helicopter tour, but Spring and Autumn are the best seasons. As the helicopter flies over the Everest region trekking trails, you can see the Everest trekkers marching on their destinations. In the spring, all the forests bloom as rhododendron and other seasonal flowers. The weather is very much clear in these seasons so the views of the Himalayas are stunning. Itinerary

• Leave Kathmandu domestic airport around 7:00am.
• Continue to Everest Base Camp and Kalapatthar.
• Fly back to Kathmandu, arriving around 10:00 or 11:00am.
