Pisang Peak Climbing

After you take breakfast, we’ll brief you on our upcoming adventure and then take you on a sightseeing tour around Kathmandu, including several UNESCO World Heritage sites. You can spend the rest of the day preparing for your upcoming trek.

We begin our journey drive to Chame after breakfast. It is a long journey via beautiful Nepalese landscape. During the beginning of our trip, our trail is alongside the winding Trishuli River. Today we cross the several popular place such as Beshishar, Bulbule, Sangya, Jagat, Chamje, Dharapani, Timang and finally we reach to Chame.Overnight at guesthouse.

Today we walk along the Marshyandi River with very dense pine forest will bring us to a dramatic curved rock face, rising 1500m from the river. As the trail opens up, we will be surrounded by Himalayan peaks all the way to Pisang. We ascend around thirty minutes towards a big hill to reach Upper Pisang. Overnight in guesthouse.

Today spending time at a high altitude location will guarantee that we have a successful trip. We spend the whole day resting and exploring the village. Exploring the village and interacting with the locals will help us get a better glimpse of the local lifestyle. Overnight in guesthouse.

We begin our trek after breakfast towards the Pisang Base Camp. We ascend on a trail that passes through a thin forest and grasslands. The pasture is used for grazing yaks and ship is also the best place to set up our camp. We setup the camp at meadow. Overnight at tented camp.

Today we ascend on the south-west ridge and reach the high camp and we set our camp there. After setting up our camp, we participate on a basic climbing training with our well experience climbing guide.Our guides will provide training on peak climbing techniques and the proper ways of using climbing gears. Although it is not mandatory to have prior training for Pisang Peak climbing, we strongly believe that some training experience will boost your confidence and climbing skills to increase the chances of scaling the summit as well as to fully enjoy the experience. Today is our big challenging day, so we begin our trek early in the morning after breakfast. Today’s trail will be mostly on rocky surfaces. The peak is steep; therefore, there is not much snow. We will require around 20m of rope to climb on a ridge. Pisang peak summit is around 70 degree of slope which will require the usage of around 200m rope. Both fixed rope and main rope will be used. We can see the mind blowing views of the Annapurna ranges and others are extraordinary from the summit. After spending few minute in top we return back to the base camp for an overnight stay. From the base camp of Pisang peak we trek towards Ngawal village. Today we are guarantees outstanding views of Mt. Annapurna, Tilicho, Pisang Peak, and others. As we walk near Manang the climate becomes more cold and dry. In the evening we celebrate successful ceremony in guesthouse with all team. Overnight at guesthouse.

We gently ascend to Tenki village and almost flat to Yak Kharka today. The trail follows this valley northward, passing a few pastures, a scrub of juniper trees, as it steadily gains elevation. The trail further passes near the small village of Ghunsa, a cluster of flat mud roofs just below the trailhead. Now the trail goes through meadows where horses and yaks graze. After crossing a small river on a wooden bridge, the trail passes an ancient old Mani wall in a pleasant meadow and then reaches Yak Kharka. Overnight at guesthouse.

Today uphill walk to High camp. After walking for some time, we cross a suspension bridge and reach Ledar. We ascend further and pass through towering cliffs before reaching Thorang Phedi. We will have lunch Throng phedi and continue walk to High camp.Overnight at guest house.

Today we start our journey early in the morning because we are going to cross the Throng-La pass a highest trekking pass in the world. From the pass we can see the mind blwing view of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Himalaya range. After the pass we descent to the Muktinath, which take about 2/3 hour after the pass. Overnight at Muktinath.

Muktinath is an popular pilgrimage site for Buddhists and Hindus alike. In the morning, we visit to the temple area and a Buddhist monastery located close to the temple. After the short tour, we continue our trek down to Jomsom, which is district headquater of Mustang District. In the evening we can celebrate the dinner in mountain for successful trip. Today we fly to Pokhara, the lake city in the earliest possible airplane. After checking-in at our hotel we will sightseeing around Pokhara valley. There are several place such as Devi’s fall, Gupteshower Mahadev Cave, Seti River Gorge, International mountain museum and Fewa lake are the main attraction of Pokhara valley. In the evening you free time for souvenir shopping for your friends and family. Overnight at Hotel.

After breakfast, we drive towards Kathmandu. After reaching Kathmandu we have the rest of the day and in the evening we will provide fare well dinner in typical Nepali restaurant with culture program. Overnight at hotel.
