Rubi valley and Ganesh Himal Trekking

After you take breakfast, we’ll brief you on our upcoming adventure and then take you on a sightseeing tour around Kathmandu, including several UNESCO World Heritage sites. You can spend the rest of the day preparing for your upcoming trek.

Today we will take local bus early in the morning or private jeep to reach Shyaprubesi. Shyaprubesi is the gateway of Langtang trekking and lies in the confluence of Bhotekoshi and Langtang river. Mesmerizing scenic driving passing through the Trisuli bazaar, Kalikasthan, Ramche and Dhunche to make fun our day. After the Dhunche the road will be narrow and zig zags to reach the Shyaprubesi. First day of the trek, ascend the two hour steep ups across the Goljung Village enjoying views of the Ganesh Himal, Shishapangma, Langtang Lirung and others many snow capped peak. We can have some snacks in the top with beautiful view and continue trek to Gatlang village. Gatlang is a small village on the hillside with traditional stone houses. The trail through the pine rhododendron forest to a lunch point of Yuri Kharka before continue to Khurpu Bhanjyang and then down to the somdang river, border between two district. A sprawling mining compound, no longer functioning but it seems local appealing to the government to revive it, lies a few hours to the north of river. The hike passes through a scenic valley featuring the 200m Chukarma waterfall. The former mine leaves a lot be explored and is the site of a 1.4 km tunnel bored into the mountain to extractzinc, copper, tin, crystal and even highly-prized rubies. Today gently uphill passing through the beautiful jungle and mesmerizing surrounding landscapes including Langtang and Ganesh himal. In the afternoon we reach to the best view point Pangsang Kharka. This is the huge meadow from where we can see the panoramic view of langtang,Ganesh and Manaslu. The hole Ganesh himal region is belled with abundant herbal plants. Previously herbs were taken to Tibet along an ancient trade route and exchanged for salt, livestock, wool and turquoise. Over night at guesthouse/home stay. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included)

Descend to Tipling, a large village that hosts two Buddhist Gompa and both a protestant and catholic church. We walk along the ridge top to the east is a gompa and cremation ground for both Buddhist and Christian lined with colorful flags. Shertung is inhabited mainly by Tamang. Holy Chyamra danda, Fyanchyat monastery and Sajyat are the main holy attraction of this village. We can see the excellence mountain view from here. Over night at guesthouse/home stay. After breakfast we trek down to the Chalish village around 45 minute. We leave our luggage and trek to hot spring, it takes about 1:30 minute from village. We will take hot bath enjoy all the day and back to evening. Today we have to bring the pack lunch because there are no more tea shop yet. People of this village is one of the friendliest and helpful of the area. Mother group, Father group and even local youth group are always ready to show their local culture an performance if tourist are interested to participate. Most of the youngest of this village are in tourism. Over night at guesthouse/home stay. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included)

Today we walk to mani danda from where we can see perfect Ganesh himal range. We walk through the Deul danda, Gobre village, Chhap danda and Bhandari Bhir. We continue to Ukhum village for lunch. After the lunch we continue trek through the several village and finally we reach at Jharlang village. Jharlang is the big Tamang village and belongs nearly 200 house. After the breakfast almost down walk to the Jharlang Phedi passing through the some rice field and landscapes. Today we cross the big landside of this area. We walk along the several village today and finally rich to Darkha Gaon for overnight stay. Over night at guesthouse/home stay. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included)

Today is the last day of our journey. We will take a bus/jeep early in the morning after breakfast through the Kimdang phedi, Lapang,Todke, Sauli and finally we reach to Dhading besi. Dhading besi is the districts headquarter of dhading district. After lunch in Dhading besi we continue drive to the Kathmandu with black top road. In the evening we provide fare well dinner at typical Nepali restaurant with cultural program. Over night at hotel. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included)
