Everest Region

The world-famous trekking destination Everest (Sagarmatha) lies in the northeast of Kathmandu valley. There are several ways to reach the Everest region such as fly to Lukla/Fhaplu or helicopter flight to Shyangboche and drive to Jiri from Kathmandu. These are covered the three districts Dolakha, Ramechep, and Solukhumbu. The highest mountain in the world has been continuously attracting adventurers as ever. A hair-raising flight land of the airstrip of Lukla or Phaplu, from where one can start walking through the popular Sherpa village Of Churikharka, Phakding, Manju, Namche, Khumjung, Tengboche, Pangboche, and Dingboche. Sherpa, Tamang, Jirel, Rai, Brahmin, and Chhetri are the main ethnic group of the region. This region reach wildlife such as Musk deer, Snowbear, Himalayan Thar, Jharal, Yak, and some birds pica, Danphe (the national bird of Nepal), Pheasants, Tibetan snowcock, Red-billed magpie, and many more as well as rhododendron, birch, hemlock, junipers, fir, etc. are made the beautiful nature. There are more than 100 thousand trekkers who visit the region every year.
