Lower Manaslu Trek

After you take breakfast, we’ll brief you on our upcoming adventure and then take you on a sightseeing tour around Kathmandu, including several UNESCO World Heritage sites. You can spend the rest of the day preparing for your upcoming trek.

Today we drive to the Manakamana cable cat station and ridge to cable car, which takes 15 minutes to reach temple. We have lunch at Manakamana temple and start our trek agter getting the bless from manakamana Devi. About half an hour walk, we can see the Siddha cave, which name from Siddha Lakhan Thapa, who is founder of Manakamana temple. We continue trek to the Pipalchhap through the Tinmane Bhanjyang for overnight stay. Over night at homestay.

We start our journey after the delicious homemade breakfast toward Gorkha Bazaar. Today we visit the monuments of first martyr of Nepal Lakhan Thapa. There is a beautiful park, and it has a collection of Lakhan Thapa’s belongings like sward and stone spout. We will have delicious lunch at the Bungkot village and continue trek to Gorkha Bazaar. Today we excursion around Gorkha Bazaar. There are several place to visit such as Gorkha place, Gorkha museum and Gorakhnath cave and others. Gorkha place is the very famous, from where King Prithvi Narayan Shah initiated unification of modern Nepal is perched one thousand feet above Gorkha Bazaar. Gorkha Misium is located at Gorkha Darbar, it has a wide range of artifacts and personal belongings of prithvi Narayan Shah along with his 52 feet long birth details (chino) and other many things. Gorekhnath cave just 15 minutes below from the place. The cave is believed to be the shelter of Garakhnath Baba (Great sage) after, the district obtained its name. He was the guide of Shah Dynasty, who blessed and provided his precious guidance to the dynasty of the unification of nation. Overnight at hotel.

We drive to Bhachek by local bus through the bumpy road around 5/6 hours. Driving through the curvaceous mountain roads overlooking Daraudi river is a thrilling experience. After then another an hour hike to Sirandada. A Tamang village warmly welcome us. Overnight at homestay.

Today we ahead our journey to the barpak village. Barpak village is the popular thick Gurung village in the lap of Manaslu Himal. This village known as the village of late capt. Gage Ghale, who was honored with Victoria Cross Medal from UK. This village was totally affected by massive earthquake at 25 April 2015 but they are almost rebuilt and ready to provide the homestay service. We can have the pure organic food in this village. Another popular gurung village and the beautiful mountain appear from Laprak village. Fro this village, most of the young generation involve in tourism sector. This village is known as Iman singh Gurung, who climb the Mt. Everest first time from western Nepal. There are more then 200 house all together and it is way to Manaslu Rubinala pass terk. This village also totally affected by quake but they already ready to provide the service. Overnight at homestay.

Today walk toward Nabi Kharka a big Meadow four walk from Laprak. This place open for pasture and there are few house of Lapraki’s people. In this area totally prohibited to bring the meat item according to the local. Overnight at Homestay.

Today early morning we hike our last destination Dharche Dada, which is 3220m from sea label. This hill offers the breathtaking 180 degree panoramic view of Annapurna Massif, Fishtail,Buddha Himal, Ganesh Himal, Himchuli, Sarangee peak, manaslu, Shringi Hima and many more. After taking the picture and enjoy with view we trek down to Tallo Thotneri. Overnight at homestay.

Last day but very important day , we start our journey after the breakfast and walk toward sita cave. It is very famous cave, surrounding by the rhododendron forest and it is holds a religious significance among Hindu People and main attraction of the tourist. After then we continue trek to the Gyampesal for overnight stay. Today we can stay in Guesthouse.

There are few buses leave to Kathmandu in the morning. We pack our stops and leave to Kathmandu via Gorkha Bazaar, it takes about 7/8 hour. In the evening we will provide you fare well dinner in Typical nepali restaurant with culture program. Overnight at hotel.
