Langtang Gosaikunda trek is one of the popular trekking among the Langtang region trekking. It is famous for both pilgrimage and adventure lovers. This trek starts from Shyaprubesi and end at Dhunche. From the Shyaprubesi we ascend through the langtang River and deep forest Oak and rhododendron till Langtang village. From the langtang village forest will be change in to bushes due to the climate. When we reach at Kyanging Gopma climate will be very cold. Kyanging Gompa suited at altitude of 4770m from the sea label. Kayanging is famous for Yak cheese factory, Langtang glacier, Kyanging Ri and its natural beauty. We hike to the Kyanging Ri, from where we can see the incredible view of Langtang Lirung, Shisapangma, Gaurishanker, Dorejee lakpa, Gonga-La pass and many more snow capped mountain. After then we trek down to Pairo and ascend toward the Gosainda kunda through the Thulo Shyapru, Chandanbari, Lauribina and finally we reach to Gosaikunda. This is one of the holy lake lies in lap of Himalaya. There are nine lakes such as Surya Kunda, Saraswati Kunda, Bhairab Kunada, Parbati Kunda etc. This is the most sacred lake and renewed among Nepali Hindus. A famous legend recounts how Shiva, having save the world by drinking dangerous poison, struck this mountain side which his trident to create the lake and cool his burning throat. During the full moon at July-August a massive Hindu pilgrimage is held at Gosaikunda. After visiting the lake we trek down to Dhunche and drive back to Kathmandu.
