Tiliche lake is the highest lake in the world which 4920m. from the sea label. It is located at west from Manang an left from the regular Annapurna circuit trekking trail. We suggest you don’t go alone there without guide or porter. Two tricky hours west of Manang Khangsar (3755m) is the highest permanent village in the Marshyangdi village. From here the trail doesn’t follow the landslide, prone Marshyangdi valley, but a higher northern route passing Shree Kharka and a high col (9420m) descending to Tilicho base camp (4150m) around five hour from Khangsar. In the second we stay at Tilicho base camp and day trip to the Tilicho Lake.
