About Trip

Tilicho lake trekking one of the popular trekking destination among the high altitude adventure lovers in Annapurna region. Tiliche lake is the highest lake in the world which 4920m. from the sea label. It is located at west from Manang an left from the regular Annapurna circuit trekking trail. Shikhar adventure can organize the only Tilicho lake trekking but we suggest to do this trek with Annapurna circuit. Getting there is two hard day from Manang, trail are scree-ridden and dicey, route may be hard to find lodge are often shout out of season. We suggest you don’t go alone there without guide or porter. Two tricky hours west of Manang Khangsar (3755m) is the highest permanent village in the Marshyangdi village. From here the trail doesn’t follow the landslide, prone Marshyangdi valley, but a higher northern route passing Shree Kharka and a high col (9420m) descending to Tilicho base camp (4150m) around five hour from Khangsar. In the second we stay at Tilicho base camp and day trip to the Tilicho Lake. After visiting the Tilicho lake we back to the Churi Lader and join to the regular trekking trail to Jomsom via Throng-la pass 5416m. Probably this is the highest trekking pass in the world. Shikhar Adventure assure to make your holidays package in Himalaya of Nepal.
